To begin off, do you ever feel so insecure in yourself that you dress in sweat pants that are too big to even look decent on you? Or did you just stay home when your girlfriends wanted a girls night out, but you didn't want to attend because how insecure you felt? While to tell you the truth, that's because you don't have confidence in yourself at all.
Now, I;m not saying that you don't because I am trying to be mean, but because its a problem that not only women face, but also men. The reason we face that problem is because when we see someone who we don't know looking way better than us in clothes that we either own or wish that we could own, we start doubting our self's thinking that we've never look like them or that we could never pull it off wearing that. But the truth is we could, and all we need is to stop telling our self's the negativity and start telling our self's the positive things about us. I know that sounds hard, and that EVERYONE tells us to do that, but they aren't wrong, truthfully they're right and we need to stop doing that because we're all better than that, plus everyone is beautiful and handsome in their own way, it's just that we put our self down that we don't realize it. In order to bring back our confidence and enough feeling insecure about our self, is this: 1. get rid of the negative people in your life, this one may be hard and tough, but it's a step into your new and improve state of mind. 2. learn to actually love yourself, as in treat yourself to a "me-time" by actually pampering yourself, by doing anything you want to do even if you don't have a lot of money. 3. breath, as in do some mediation to get yourself on track with your inner soul. Also read a good book in your room, living room, or outside where the air is fresh and you feel more relax. 4. pray, now this one is a very touchy topic, because not many pray, or believe in God, but if you do then you could find a spot anywhere and pray, or if you don't believe in God, don't worry, you could just find something to keep you in a quiet state of mood 5. take a nice walk and breath in the fresh air. It doesn't have to be the fact that you're working out, but just because you just want to walk out and not have to worry about anything except the nice calming air and not home stuck. These are just a few things that might get your confidence back and gone with the insecurity. Also another way that's not listed is but you could still do it and that is wear clothing that you normally wouldn't be caught wearing even if doesn't seem your style, wear it cause you never know who's going to be there, looking at you in a awe state or in a way that impressive them because you stepped out of your comfort zone. Now don't worry if you don't feel confident right on the back, but it takes time and patient, and don't worry I also have to work on a couple of these things also :) Love ST (XOXO) |
